Spring Celebration!

This meeting will be a celebration to close out Autism Acceptance month with some fun together, and practice some public speaking (only if you want to).

We’re going to have an Autism Advocacy Open Mic!

This is an opportunity for you to share a talent, poem, song, story, or talk about something important to you in your life that you want to make others more aware of.

Don’t worry – you won’t have to speak in front of the group if you don’t want to. Our brave presenters will need a good audience to support them, so you can just sit and listen if you’d like.

If you want, you could even write out something for someone else to read. That would be great also!

As always, you’ll be able to share (or not) at whatever level you are most comfortable with as we all celebrate what makes us awesome and unique.

*Just a reminder that we encourage ALL Members to attend MAC Meetings if at all possible.

We understand this meeting is just before Easter and some of you may have plans with your families. That’s fine, but please text Jill at 239-201-8133 or send her a message in Slack to let her know if you can’t make it.

After the meeting, members are invited to meet for dinner at a location near the office.
