This week at cooking class we went over on how to create recipes from things you already have in your kitchen. We decided to be a little fancy as well. I chose to teach the class to make a baked brie with raspberries and brown sugar on top. Most members were a little wary about the cheese wheel because it was something new to them (brie has an outside layer making it look odd) but once cut open after coming out of the oven it was gooey and sweet. We also made pepperoni pizza quesadillas, taking turns using the burners and skillets. We even got a chance to experiment with our own recipes using what we could find in the fridge. This was a fun class because I got to share some of my favorite foods with others and teach them how to make it and other versions as well.
