Lindsay Issa, Program Director at My Autism Connection (MAC), brings deep passion for MAC’s mission and a steadfast commitment to the neurodiverse community. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Central Florida, with expected graduation in December 2025. Upon completing her degree, Lindsay plans to obtain licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in Florida, continuing her dedication to serving individuals through compassionate, inclusive support.
Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Bethel University in Saint Paul, MN, and brings robust experience in the human services field. Her background includes direct support for adults with autism and developmental disabilities, as well as work with individuals navigating complex challenges such as mental health conditions, substance use, homelessness, and trauma.
Deeply aligned with MAC’s mission, Lindsay is passionate about fostering inclusive, strengths-based programs that celebrate neurodiversity and empower participants to thrive. She is honored to lead programming that makes a meaningful impact in the lives of neurodivergent adults, and believes this work is not only valuable—but vital to building a more equitable and compassionate society.
Lindsay’s approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, individualized support, and a genuine commitment to listening to and uplifting the voices of those she serves. As Program Director, she is focused on enhancing service delivery, strengthening community partnerships, and cultivating a safe, welcoming environment where every participant is seen, respected, and supported.
She is excited to continue growing alongside the MAC community and contributing to a future where all individuals are empowered to lead fulfilling, self-directed lives.
